For my plaster hand project, I visited Huntington Beach with my friend John (who is not enrolled in the class but was interested in trying the project with me). We both made similar molds of our hands in the sand and ended up with very successful results! It was really enjoyable to dig the molds out of the sand as they began to reveal themselves, and we felt like kids again as we imagined ourselves as world famous archaeologists. Had it not been for this class, I probably would have never tried this kind of project, and after doing it, I am planning on doing it again with a few more friends. After we cleaned up and brushed the molds clean, we treated ourselves to some much deserved burgers down the street! Awesome project!
